Colorbond gates are normally used to match colorbond fencing, although are also an economic low maintenance solution to a gate that provides privacy. They come with an aluminium frame powder coated to match your gate posts and the colorbond is carefully set into the frame on site.

If you don't want anyone to see through your gate, colorbond is the most economic solution. Set into an aluminium gate frame powder coated to match the colorbond of other colour of your choice. A variety of colorbond profiles can be used, which is normally fitted to the frame once installed.

 

Frames can be made from:

• 38mm x 25mm x 1.5mm round corners small swing gates only.
• 40mm x 25mm x 2.5mm square corners small gates only (bottom rail of a sliding gates 40mm x 80mm x 3mm)
• 40mm x 40mm x 3mm (40mm x 25mm x 3mm centre vertical rails set in behind the colorbond sheeting for wider gates and bottom rail of 40mm x 80mm x 3mm for sliding gates)
• 50mm x 50mm x 3mm (50mm x 25mm x 3mm centre vertical rails set in behind the colorbond sheeting for wider gates and bottom rail of 50mm x 100mm x 3mm for sliding gates)

 

Colorbond sheeting

Comes in a variety of profiles and can either be set into the frame with 20mm x 20mm angle OR mounted to the front face of the frame with a 40mm x 40mm angle run around the edge as a trim. The sheets may be fitted horizontally or vertically and can be precut to any size, although for gates with a rake, angle cuts are required, which are done on site when fitted to the frame. All aluminium triming can be powder coated to match. Rivels and tek screws can be ordered at the same time as the colorbond sheeting in a colour to match.
